The iPhone 16e is Apple’s entry-level smartphone in the iPhone 16 lineup, announced on February 19, 2025, and released on February 28, 2025. It succeeds the iPhone SE (3rd generation) with a modern design similar to the iPhone 14, featuring a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display (actual diagonal 6.06 inches with rounded corners), resolution of 2556 x 1179 at 460 ppi, HDR10, Dolby Vision, peak brightness up to 2000 nits, and Ceramic Shield glass. It retains the classic notch for Face ID (no Dynamic Island), aluminum frame with matte glass back, and IP68 dust/water resistance. Weighing 167g and measuring 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.8 mm, it’s compact and durable. Starting at $599 for 128GB, it’s available in Black, White, Pink, Teal, and Blue.
